Glen Taylor raced several years with the APBA (American Power Boat Association) and was a National Champion in the outboard drag racing class.

Glen Taylor has been around boats his whole life and started dabbling in mechanical work on them as a young boy working for his father, Ernest T. Taylor, who had his own independent boat shop. After working for his father, he went on to work for a family-owned outboard business in Hingham and was first certified as a Mercury Outboard Technician in 1972. From 1978-1985, he worked as the service manager for a Mercury Outboard business on Cape Cod called Sagamore Bridge Marine and achieved Master Technician status in 1980.
In 1985, he decided to go out on his own and opened Precision Aero Marine in Plymouth, MA.
Since then, Precision Aero Marine’s customer base has grown substantially, mostly through customer referral. Today Glen serves Plymouth and most of the South Shore for those that have Mercury engine needs.
As a hand’s on business owner, Glen is well trusted in the community. His customers know they can rely on him for the right advice and service every time. In addition to his love of boating, Glen is an accomplished pilot and has been flying since 1977. He has ratings in helicopters, balloons, single and multi-engine airplanes and jets and has flown professionally.
Glen is currently building an experimental airplane, so come and visit us and see the progress, we are located conveniently off of route 3 at exit 6, right by the Plymouth Airport.
